Terra M. Kurtz
In addition to her work as a writer and as an advocate for those affected by family court, Terra is also a published model. Terra was an international pageant representative for Texas and competed as a natural fitness athlete. She has also walked the runway during Miami Swim Week. Terra is 5’6” and is the first “short” woman to be featured by Neiman Marcus on the runway. Her short stature is a testament that even the tallest of models are not the only ones to succeed in the fashion industry.
After Terra had her child, she was soon diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and was forced to change her focus from trying to build her career, to trying to build her health. She worked diligently as a health and fitness coach, helping women get their confidence, strength, and their life back under control.
Her time in the family court system with her child inspired her to write her debut memoir, Motherhood on Trial. Her story disguised as a roadmap for other women.
As Founder and President of the Legally Women Foundation, her mission is to educate, advocate, prepare, and support women and families going through the Family Court System. Through the practical systems that the Legally Women Foundation is structuring, Terra is dedicated advocate that parents prepare for navigating the family court system in the most efficient and effective manner possible – all in the best interest of the children. Utilizing the preparation layer.
Terra through her written work, speaking, systems, and stories to support families going through similar struggles discuss turning your struggles into your greatest strengths. She will continue to do this work with a soft but unwavering voice and with great depth and understanding.
